February 2, 2012 at 7:25 a.m. Puxsutawney Phil saw his shadow. That means there is six more weeks of winter! However, here in New Concord, the weather is actually very nice and rather warm for February. I’m just hoping that doesn’t mean that I will be looking for Easter Eggs in the snow.
On another note, February is Diversity month at Muskingum, with a variety of programs and entertainment focused on everything and anything relating to Diversity. For example, tonight there will be a comedian who also focuses on LGBT issues and support. Her name is Faith Choyce. I am looking forward to see how it goes. The comedian is being sponsored by CenterBoard, the student activities committee as well as the Equality Alliance, or LGBT club here on campus.
