Wednesdays are my busiest days as a college student. Not only do I have four classes in a row without a break (I have five total classes overall for the day), I have to put the paper together, edit, and submit it to the publisher on-time, not to mention any other odds and ends that need done, like calling people to set-up interviews for my Advanced News Writing class, or whipping up a quick editorial for this week’s edition. Oh, and can I say that I woke-up at 5:15 a.m. and came into the B&M office at 6 a.m. just to finish up on a few additional pages for the paper?! Yeah, my schedule is jam-packed – I even need to pencil in a nap if I was to have one!
However, with all of this hustling and bustling around, trying and making sure every piece of work is completed and all deadlines are met, one needs to realize that without energy, we would not be able to burn the candle at both ends like I do almost daily (and of which I do NOT recommend – for health reasons…LOL). So, it IS up to you on how busy your college schedule will be, but just make sure that you at LEAST make time for some lunch, for without food, we would not have the bouncy energy to complete all that is asked of us. Even I have made time for lunch – that is why I am munching on Lucky Charms at this moment, enjoying every marshmallow, while typing this blog.
