This is an exciting time for all music students at Muskingum.  For one, it is the time of the year when the ensembles (Choir, Winds, and others) hold their fall concerts.  These concerts feature the hard work of the Music Department since the beginning of the school year.  Another exciting addition is the building of Walter Hall.  This new academic building is set to open next  year.  It will primarily hold the Music Department as well as the Modern Languages Department.  This building provides the much needed space that we need to continue to enhance our music program.  I know that I am sure excited, and that if you are at all interested in music at all (even just for fun) you will want to be involved to enjoy this fantastic building.

In a later post, I will discuss what it is like to actually be a music major, minor, or simply a participant.  Stay tuned.
