Giving Up

I went into college with the idea of being extremely busy; my idea was if I was busy I wouldn’t be bored. This idea was true for my freshman year, and I would suggest it to everyone coming in to Muskingum that might think that New Concord living is boring.

But as I refine what I am interested in doing post-graduation and what I need to accomplish to get to my goal, I begin to realize a lot of what I spend my time doing isn’t going to help me to get that future job.

So currently I am working through everything that takes up time in my life and figuring out if it is needed for me later in life. Through this process I have realized who my friends are and who I care about on campus, this process has been amazing and I would suggest it for everyone else. It is easier to give up on a job or task than to try to get involved later, and that is the route I am taking.
