The difference between H.S. and College – in winter, that is…

As you are making the transition from your comfortable place in high school to the new world at college, there is one thing you should keep in mind. When the snow falls and falls, and the ice begins to grow on the sidewalks, colleges usually don’t have the pleasure of getting a snow day. We must endure the cold weather, the bustling wind, and the harsh elements. I’m not complaining about it, though. Why? Well, although us college folk must go through these conditions, we have one thing that high school doesn’t – and that’s an early start to summer break! So just be sure to keep that in mind when you are finally enduring your first campus snowstorm – remember that, although you do have class, it will pay off greatly in the end!!
