Muskie Music THIS Sunday

I posted earlier this semester about my being in Choral Society, a community chorus group that meets every Monday at 7 p.m. to practice a SATB piece to be performed with the symphony for a spectacular Christmas show. Well, that performance day is fast approaching, it being THIS Sunday at 3:30 p.m. I have been a choir participant since my early high school years, and I must say it is both and honor and a blessing to be able to say that this is most likely my last choir performance (at least for a while). This is also the most talented, complicated, advanced, and beautiful performance I will be in. The music is gorgeous, although the vocal portions are a challenge. Yet, I love how I am an English major (my concentration being within journalistic studies) and here I am performing with the finest in music here at Muskingum. This is what Muskingum is all about: diversity with friends, interests, activites, etc!! You can have your cake and eat it, too at Muskingum and that is exactly what I’ll be doing this upcoming Sunday in Brown Chapel at 3:30 p.m. Hey, if you’re nearby and have nothing to do, why not stop in and check us out? I promise you won’t regret it!
