If you choose to keep the text:

#1: Then use and abuse it! Highlight, underline, fold, and crease your little heart away!

If you are keeping the book, then use it to YOUR advantage!

Using a college textbook the way it is meant to be used WILL help your grades and your overall academic performance. It will help you remember important quotes that can be used later in a paper and help you understand specific details that you may have missed otherwise!

If you choose to sell ’em back:

If you are planning to sell back your texts, however, marking and folding pages is NOT something you should do. Keep the book and its pages clean, free of ANY marks, page markers, folds, or post-it notes.

Take care when placing books into book bags, purses, etc. Do NOT shove the book somewhere or throw the book in the back of your car if you want to get money out of it. Treat the book as a library book and try to take extra care of its binding and the cover.

Unlike the saying goes, the book buyers DO judge a book by its cover…
