Time flies by!

Another year is well on it’s way here at Muskingum University and I am busy already with my junior year here. My name is Brandon DaLonzo, my friends call me B, and every Friday I will be blogging to all of you awesome readers about my experiences and day to day life. First let me share just a bit of information with you so you can get to know me a little better.

  • As mentioned I am junior and I can’t believe it, I feel as though I just started yesterday!
  • I am from just north of Pittsburgh, PA (black and yellow, black and yellow!) and hail from Seneca Valley High school.
  • I am majoring in Psychology and minoring in art.
  • I am very active here on campus with a variety of activities and jobs. I am a resident assistant and over see a floor of guys in Kelley hall, I am a tour guide, a desk worker in the Chess Center, and of course a blogger! The activities I am involved with include being both the president of the Equality Alliance (LGBT group) and class of 2013 (student senate). All of this keeps me very busy, but I absolutely love it and wouldn’t trade it for the world.
  • I originally chose Muskingum at the time for the simple fact that they were offering me a large scholarship and also because I felt some personal draw to the campus, however at first I was not too fond of the school. Once I became active on campus and made friends I fell in love and would not trade it for the world.
  • If I could share some advice with seniors in high school, it would be to go see the schools you are looking at and see a lot of them. This means check out a variety of schools, big ones, small ones, rural, and urban. When you are checking the school out and visit it, try to picture yourself going to class, living in the dorms, and eating in the dining hall. This is the best advice I can share, but also check to see they have all of the important things such as your academic and extra curricular interests available.

For now this is all I have to share with you, I can’t wait to share something new with you all next week!
