Rainy Day Tours

Hey there,

We find ourselves together on yet another Friday, another week is passed and I could not be more happy about that. The weekend is a time for some much needed R&R.

However, my Friday is not over just yet as I sit and write this blog I have one more thing I have to do before I can call it the weekend. This particular thing has the potential to mean more than a line of separation between me and the weekend, it’s all about someone’s future. The most important thing in anyone’s life is their future. It is something you work towards constantly.

Now you are probably wondering what that thing is and that is a tour. Now don’t get me wrong, a tour is not the most important thing in the world, but it definitely is an aid to the future. It is a big part of making a choice about where to go for school. I feel as a tour guide it can either make or break your choice to attend somewhere. So, as a tour guide I take great pride in aiding that decision and doing my best to make the decision easy.

Normally, it would be a perfect fall tour day, however as the title gives way, it’s raining. However, that won’t stop me. Giving a tour is something I enjoy doing and I can’t wait to make this tour that much better even though it’s raining.

At this point if you have read this far in my entry you are probably wondering to yourself, he is just rambling, why read any further. Well, this is the reason why, I am going to share with you a little piece of information I share with all perspective students and their parents or whom ever attends with them. I tell the student, you need to try to picture yourself going to class here, walking the beautiful fall hills (selling point), eating in the dinning hall (grilled cheese and tomato soup day), and last  but not least living in the dorms. This is the best piece of advice I can give to anyone who is looking at schools.

I just do my best to make you picture yourself going to Muskingum University and personally I  could not see myself attending any other university or school, I love it here.

I hope you have a great weekend!
