Happy Halloween!

Friday’s edition of the Black & Magenta has a Halloween themed Special Section. I had a lot of fun creating the graphics and designing the page. It’s definitely a great experience.
That being said, you’ll never appreciate Halloween quite as much as you do during your college years.
It’s like Christmas up here. So many events to attend, everyone wandering around in costumes, it’s definitely exciting.
Brandon mentioned the Kelley floor program, which I also attended. That was merely a start to the multiple days of Halloween celebration. Friday evening there was a haunted laboratory, and Saturday a haunted tour hosted by Stag Club and World Vision.
And of course there were parties. Who doesn’t enjoy going out and dancing with a bunch of monsters? There were some excellent costumes…and some not so excellent costumes.
The cool thing about Muskingum is that New Concord is a small-town community, so trick or treat is a big deal. They’re even having a costume contest for the kids. It’s pretty neat.
I hope you all enjoy your Halloween adventures. (:
Stay safe!
