‘Tis the Season for High School Visits

These are a few of my favorite weeks on campus, because we have been hosting potential Muskies to campus, giving them tours and eating lunch with them.

I have been a tour guide since second semester of my freshman year, and it has definitely been one of the most rewarding jobs I could have had on campus. Because of being a tour guide, we give tours to families who come in, and then also, like I mentioned, we’ve had these preview days, and we tour groups of families and eat lunch with them.

But the best part of preview days is that the admissions office hosts a student panel, where four students sit on stage with Beth DaLonzo and ask us questions, any questions they have about college or Muskingum. And I have been lucky enough to be chosen as one of the four students for all student panels this semester, with the last day being this coming Saturday.

So for any of you reading this who may have sat in on one, or in the future remember that the one girl who writes the blog may be here when I visit Muskingum today, feel free to ask questions. I and all of the rest of the tour guides love to talk and answer them, and we are more than willing to do so.

Happy Wednesday!
Until next week,
Katie Day
