The B&M

Muskingum has a student run newspaper on campus called The Black and Magenta.

It has been the student voice of Muskingum since 1894.

I am currently in the intro to journalism class where I have the opportunity every week to write and submit an article to the copy editors with hopes of my story making it into the papers.

Writing for the paper has proven to be a challenge to me, however, I’ve really started enjoying it.

Up to this point, I’ve written an article on a group on campus, I’ve had the opportunity to interview two faculty members on their books either recently published or coming up soon, as well as covering Camp Day at Muskingum.

Just in this few short weeks, I have learned a great deal and had a few really interesting experiences.

This is just one of the many ways to become involved on campus, all the whole having a voice, much like this blog to share and express feelings through.

If you would like to check out the recent news on campus, you can check out the B&M website.

Happy Wednesday!

Katie Day
