College Field Trip

Hey Followers,

I apologize for being MIA last week, but I have a reason. I went on a field trip and this post is going to be about it. Last week I had the opportunity to travel to Ohio State University with other students from Stag Club and Delta, both are Greek organizations on campus. The reason they are special, is because John Glenn was a Stag and Annie Glenn, a Delta. Both organizations were invited for a day of philanthropy and fun.

Once we arrived at OSU we were greeted by OSU faculty and staff. We enjoyed speeches given by students from OSU and Muskingum alike. Following this we broke up into different groups for community service. We also were mixed in with students from other schools and Greek life organizations. It was really cool to talk with them and hear about their organizations. The group I was in went to COSI in Columbus, which is the Columbus Science center. We planted bulbs outside of the building for the afternoon. After completing our community service we returned to OSU and had lunch with everyone.

Overall, it was a great experience. It was really nice to go to the city for a day and meet new people. However, after leaving OSU’s campus I was grateful to return to Muskingum. It was like returning home after being away on vacation. Muskingum, is home away from home.

Until Next week,
