Planning some friend time during my slow week

Last week was insanely crazy and this week is a little bit slow, besides the usual classes and work. It’s become almost a routine: prepare for 5 projects in one week with barely time to breathe and then have a week to catch up on sleep, relaxing time, and with friends (do professor’s everywhere plan these weeks on purpose?) Even with time management, things can become a bit hectic; it’s part of the college experience everywhere (I’ve conferred with my sister, who goes to Cincinnati). And, while those crazily busy, run-everywhere-to-be-on-time-but-still-end-up-late days happen occasionally, they make these weeks when you get to slow down, sip some coffee, look-back-at-everything-you’ve-done-and-smile days feel amazing, sometimes even more so when you get to spend that time with friends that you wouldn’t have met anywhere else. While I know I would have made friends at any school I had chosen, I can’t imagine that they could possibly have been better than the ones that I’ve made throughout my 3 ½ years at Muskingum!

Here’s to catching up over coffee, movie nights, shopping excursions, dinner dates, procrastination, supportive study buddies, good listeners, and so much more … I hope your day is just as friend-filled and relaxing as mine!
