Fall Frenzy!

With only three days of classes left before fall break, excitement is floating all around campus. It seems like the pace of students this week is accelerating as all students are on the final push to head home for a few days after classes on Friday. This year at Muskingum we get Friday after classes through Tuesday off with classes resuming again on Wednesday.

I am extremely excited to go home and see my family for a few days, however, I know within a day of being back at home I will be counting down the days until I return back on campus again! The fall here is my favorite time of the year (minus softball season in the Spring!) because there are always so many fun activities to attend. A common event in the fall is bonfires; these usually take place around 8 p.m. Even though these are sometimes hosted by sororities/fraternities, everyone on campus is welcome to come out for a study break and make smores’ and enjoy food and friendship of other Muskies! In addition, many other events take place on campus every weekend that always offer fun, usually food, and lots of good times.

The beauty of this campus can never be expressed in words, so I recommend that you make at least one visit to Muskingum during the fall. The leaves are just beginning to change and it really is a great feeling to wake up everyday and be proud to be a Muskie.

Have a great week! 🙂
