Returning to Muskie Land

I was simultaneously thrilled and terrified to return back to Muskie Land. On one hand, I was pretty happy because the classes will be things I enjoy. I’ve got my usual bio and accompanying lab in there somewhere, Evolution (which I am SUPER excited for), French Literature in Translation (I’m a book nerd + satisfies an LAE), and computer science. Eve though I am a nerdy lady who surrounds herself with nerdy people, I have still managed to be computer illiterate. So, I figured a course that satisfies an LAE and gives me some valuable skills would be good for me. However, Monday was only day one and it was already difficult… So, we’ll see how that goes.

Aside from that, break was… well, okay. Not really a break from working, but it was nice to not have to work and go to school for once. I did get a big break after the holidays were over because my employers severely cut everybody’s hours, so I got to spend some time relaxing and doing things I enjoy/needed to do, like having a Netflix marathon, cleaning everything, reading a book or two, and even having a bit of a social life! šŸ˜›

Trying to get back into the swing of things will be rough, but I sure did miss my Muskie Land.
