Last Friday was our Chinese New Year. In China we have different calender, we call lunar calender. So for us, we just start the 2014. Lots of people know, we have twelve Chinese zodiac sings, and this year is year of horse. So for people who born in that year, they need ware red underwear. For me hometown, we eat dumplings in the first day of the year, and we put the coin inside, the people who eat dumplings with coin means they have good luck for whole year. We also have red paper containing money as a gift.
We also held a Chinese New Year party in CC social hall, and we provided hot pot, which very specy, and some Chinese food. There are lots of people join us, celebrate our new year.
Next day, my mom made the dumplings to me.
