A day for music

Hey everyone.
This weather is seriously starting to get to me; it keeps going from reasonable temperatures and then it’ll just snap to cold again and that seriously doesn’t seem that fair. I really want spring to be here already because that’s when I’m used to it getting warmer by leaps and bounds. I don’t think that I’ll be getting exactly that, but I can dream, right? The weather has at least given me an excuse to stay indoors more often, which means that I can play music a lot more often. I figured out more or less how Garageband works on my iMac so I can practice piano in a rudimentary form, plus my guitar got new strings, which means that I can play again without it sounding odd because of the old ratty strings. So far, I’ve managed to learn a new song by Panic! At the Disco on my acoustic guitar and a song by Emily Haines and the Soft Skeleton on the piano. Don’t really know when I’ll get the opportunity to play them for people, unless something happens at the Sinfo house, but whatever. Also, tonight is another meeting that I’m actually kind of excited for; it’s one of the three color nights! Also, I’ll figure out who my Big is on Saturday, which is something pretty damn exciting. I also baked a cake as part of an English assignment for Dr Wells, whom I recommend as an English Comp professor because she’s the best. My cake actually came out good, despite me having zero baking talent at all. The actual presentation isn’t pretty at all, but the taste is what matters, I think.

Any way, I’m going to get dinner in a bit and then get to work on cleaning my room a bit. Later everyone.
