Adventures in T-Shirts

For an upcoming event, Brony Club’s going to be hosting a bowling event. And while planning that’s been fun, the most interesting part of it for me has been designing the t-shirts.

I’ve planned a lot of student events before and drawn a lot of posters, but this is the first time I’ve ever done anything with shirts, so it was an interesting progress. Fellow club artist Jon and I did the initial art work, our treasurer Daniel looked into the ordering and money details, and he and our secretary Josh put together the overall design layout. Then we looked it over as a club and came to a consensus!

It really was a lot of fun, knowing that we all pulled together and came up with something that can support our club and promote the event. And even though art’s more of a hobby for me than a serious endeavor, it’s still really exciting to know that something I drew is going to be seen by people and even worn!

Here’s the completed shirt. I’m glad the image printed well!

Other than that, I’ve been working on planning for this year’s Cosplay Cafe. Once again, there’s art to be drawn or posters, so here’s a little preview of what’s in the works!

This is just the rough sketch. I gotta clean stuff up, ink it, and add in color, too!
