Feeling 22.

Hello all!

I hope you had a fabulous, relaxing weekend 🙂 Over the past couple weeks, there was one common thread that seemed to appear in all of my thoughts and tasks :time. Specifically, how fast it’s actually moving. It just seemed like yesterday, I was four years old riding my Mickey Mouse ATV in the living room of the two bedroom duplex I shared with my mom, only concern being what afternoon cartoons I wanted to watch. Now, I’m a 22 year old pending graduate from college for the second time [by the way, it’s actually my birthday today ;)], preparing to hopefully embark on a career of patient health care for the rest of my life. Though I’m excited about seeing another year, a part of me is a little uncertain about how my life is supposed to look & how it actually looks.I didn’t meet my husband at college, blew my chances at early graduation, two intense car accidents within a 30 day radius of one another, lost some friends, lost a job that I absolutely loved and, unfortunately, got a taste for racism :/
but there were also some gems among the rubble, like getting a church youth group program up and running, becoming a part of a national Greek organization, blessed with the best Greek little sister a girl could dream of, and the list could seriously go on. So even though there are some things that I wouldn’t mind changing or tweaking, maybe this post to all of you is God’s way of saying that I’m not supposed to. If I did, I probably wouldn’t be where I am at right now. I challenge you all to think of your lives from this point forward instead of “should’ve, could’ve, would’ve”to “I’m exactly where I should be”. Hope you all have a great week!

*P.S. Feel free to enjoy some Taylor Swift & Anna Nalick!
