500 Days of Summer (well, really 120).

Hey, all! Sorry about posting so late once again—-the joys of a graduating senior lol. Anywho, as i was busy preparing to go home for Easter break yesterday, I sort of started to think about what I wanted to do for my last summer as a semi free person before I entered the real world completely. I wanted to look back on the upcoming four months and smile at the memories that I’ve made with the people that I love!! So, here’s a rough gist of how my summer shall go :

1) Graduate!!!–Let’s be truthful, here. I cannot accomplish my career goals and truly move forward from my time at Muskingum unless I actually graduate.

2) Improve my finances–one thing that definitely can make the long hot days of summer go by is working. When I’m working , i don’t have the time to be idle and recklessly think. Since I’m gonna have student loan to worry about fairly soon after summer, I figured I should probably learn to start creating a budget for myself and to control my spending habits because I’m not necessarily the best with money.

3) Celebrate joy–this is something that I really want to try to grow in. With  many of my friends entering new careers, parenthood and marriage this summer, I want to be able to be happy for them without growing envious bout what I might not have just yet.

4) Read–call me a nerd if you’d like, but honestly, I look forward to just being able to read as much as I want for as long as I want. With a demanding major as mine, I rarely have time to just unwind with a good book.

5) Get healthier—okay, I say this every single year, but I would really like to get healthier physically, mentally and emotionally. For now, I’m going to focus on my physical health because that poses the biggest challenge to me.

Those are just a few things that I’d like to accomplish over this summer! Here’s to hoping that they come to pass! Have a wonderful Easter break!
