End of semester?

So I guess this is it; my final post for this year. It seems weird to think that the semester is coming to an end and that I’ll be home by May 17th. It’s stranger to think that I won’t be returning home until a whole week after school gets out, since there’s still stuff for Sinfonia that I’m doing for the time being. Really, things are strange right now, but I’m happy with what’s been going on and how this whole year turned out. The only real hurdle left is Finals, which I have one this Friday and another on the last Thursday, meaning I get loads of break time, for whatever reason. I also still have my eight-page paper to work on, but that’s all easy. The hard part will be figuring out what I’m taking back west and what I’ll be leaving here in New Concord until I return.

I know that I’m going to miss my friends here, because I’ve made some pretty good ones and we’ve had some really fun times on campus and off, even. We’re all close and they’re like a new family almost. Along with the Sinfonia family, I think I’ve got all I need here for the next three years to make me want to stay. If anything could drive me out, I think it could be the heavy snow and fog, but I think I can get used to it with enough time.

I already can’t wait for next semester to start to see what will happen, and I’ll still be here writing it all down for everyone to read. Have a good and safe summer, fam.
