Creative Writing Olympics

Do you consider yourself creative? Do you consider yourself a writer? Do you like telling ghost stories, eating free food, and winning prizes? Then you should totally come to the Creative Writing Olympics this Saturday, 12-3 pm at the Chess Center, room 304. Join Creative Writing Club in three hours of fun writing prompts and games, free food, contests, and awesome prizes. Whether you like to write poetry or create a story as you go, you will enjoy what Creative Writing club has to offer and maybe find yourself a new club to join. Judging and prizes will be at 2:30 and the deadline for the contest entry is 1:30. You don’t have to be an expert writer, all experience levels are invited. As a member of Creative Writing Club, I highly recommend going, but maybe I’m biased. Plus we only have a month left until Summer break, might as well enjoy the rest of your time on campus as much as you can. Also, if you like what you see and hear at the Olympics, consider coming to English Common Time every Thursday, at noon, English Suite in Cambridge hall to meet faculty members of the English department and English students and learn more about the English major. That’s all I got for ya! Peace!
